Plans
Your Organization is on one Plan. The Plans differ only in how many: how many Projects, Monitors, heartbeats, locations and Members you can have, and how many monthly credits come with it. Every paid Plan has every feature.

Prices are in US dollars, and a paid Plan is billed each month.
What each count means
Section titled “What each count means”- Projects: groups of Monitors, for one product or website. Each Project has its own Status page, its own Channels and its own people.
- Monitors: the websites, APIs and servers we check. A paused Monitor still counts. A heartbeat does not: it has a count of its own.
- Heartbeats: scheduled jobs and scripts that check in with us.
- Locations per Monitor: how many of our locations can check one Monitor. You choose which ones, for each Monitor.
- Members besides the owner: the people you invite. The owner is never counted, and an Invitation not yet accepted holds a place.
- Monthly credits: credits for alerts by SMS and WhatsApp, given again each month. Credits explains them.
Every count is for the whole Organization, never for one Project: your Monitors can be in any of your Projects, in any mix.
Where you see your Plan
Section titled “Where you see your Plan”In the dashboard, open Plan and billing from the sidebar. Everyone in the Organization sees the Plan’s name and how much of each count is in use, such as “7 of 10 Monitors”. When a count is used up, the screen names the Plan that holds more.
Only the owner sees what the Organization pays, and only the owner changes the Plan. The owner also sees every Plan below the counts, with Upgrade or Downgrade on each.
What every paid Plan includes
Section titled “What every paid Plan includes”A larger Plan never unlocks a feature. It holds more of each count, and that is all. Every Monitor type, every Check, every kind of Channel, Webhooks and Status pages are on every Plan, Free included.
On any paid Plan:
- each Monitor can be checked from up to 5 locations, and a failure is confirmed from more than one of them before you are alerted
- your Status page can have a Custom domain, such as
status.example.com - you can turn off “Powered by uup” on your Status page
- you get monthly credits, and you can buy more
What Free leaves out
Section titled “What Free leaves out”Free costs nothing, for as long as you use it. It holds the counts in the first row of the table, and compared with a paid Plan:
- Each Monitor is checked from 1 location. A failure is tried again from there, and you are alerted without asking another location to look.
- You cannot invite anyone. The Organization is just you.
- There are no monthly credits, and you cannot buy credits.
- Your Status page stays on our address, and always shows “Powered by uup”.
